Fridays at St Lucy's Sight Centre Browfort, Bath Road, Devizes, SN10 2AT - Meets last Thursday of month, 13:30- 15:30 - The Macular Support Groups are a great way to meet up with other people with macular disease who will be on hand to help you understand your condition, come to terms with sight loss, share information about treatment and ultimately stay independent. Every group is different but many invite guest speakers, run social events, arrange outings and holidays, fundraise, campaign and work with local eye care professionals.
Our Community Sight Loss Advisor team are here to help you adjust to living with sight loss, and to give you the tools you need to live your life the way you want to. Our support includes:
- Information, advice and guidance on living with sight loss, remaining independent and getting the most from life
- Demonstration and training on a range of useful resources to help with daily living
- Advice and training in how to use smartphones, tablets and other devices to minimise the impact of your sight loss
- Social activties, sports clubs and opportunities to meet others living with sight loss
