Home-Start South Wiltshire
Supporting families with at least one child under 5 through home-visiting volunteers. Our volunteers all have parenting experience, are safely recruited and professionally trained (40hr course with optional accreditation) and are supported to work with families experiencing difficulty. The volunteers visit families at home and provide focused family support. The service is preventative and aims, through early intervention and promoting family resilience, to stop difficulties escalating into crises or even breakdown.
