Service summary

The Gurkha Welfare Trust aims to provide welfare to enable Gurkha ex-servicemen, their dependents and communities to live their lives with dignity, primarily in Nepal but increasingly in the UK and elsewhere. 

Grants provision - disability support, emergency hardship, Winter Fuel Allowance.

Client groups

The Trust signposts to support offered by other Service Charities and Government bodies. The Gurkha welfare Advice Centre in Salisbury provides advice and help tailored to elderly ex-Gurkhas and widows settled in the UK.
