Dementia - Library Memory GroupsThis page contains information on Library Shared Reading Groups that run in Wiltshire.

Library Shared Reading Groups run in three libraries across the county every week and are aimed at people with memory loss, dementia, and their carers.

The Groups give people the opportunity to relax and listen to stories and poems in small, friendly reading groups. The sessions are free of charge, and refreshments are provided. The groups offer an enjoyable, relaxing opportunity to meet others and stimulate positive memories.

There is also a Reading for Wellbeing Group which meets at Melksham Library every week and is aimed at those who would like to 'feel better with a book', and read together in a friendly, supported group.
